An update on the changes tomorrow at the Courthouse Road Park & Ride lot. After the morning rush hour travel period, commuters will use the Wyche Road intersection to access a new side entrance to the Park & Ride lot, and a temporary signal will be shifted to Wyche Rd.and Courthouse Rd.

According to VDOT, "When construction is finished, there will be approximately 1,100 commuter parking spaces available at the Exit 140 interchange in two Park & Ride lots. The larger of the two Park & Ride lots will include a dedicated bus, carpool and vanpool pickup and dropoff area to assist with High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) ridesharing. The finished lots will have multiple entrances, sidewalks, shelters, bicycle racks, and permanent lighting structures."
