Slug Outreach
YES! We’ll be out at select Park & Ride lots the mornings of September 22nd and 23rd conducting instant carpool (slugging) outreach and rider counts.
Note: These dates were moved from August to avoid conflicts with the start of the school year, and we expect to keep this new September timeframe.
During these mornings, our team will be:
- Counting the number of slugs at each lot.
- Sharing information about resources available to commuters.
The data we collect will be used by VDOT, FAMPO, GWRC, and others to help shape future transportation planning for the Fredericksburg region.
